Observing Nature

Gie me ae spark o' Nature's fire,
That's a' the learning I desire.

--Robert Burns, First Epistle to John Lapraik

While many may be energized by the exercise of paddling, hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities, there is also the opportunity to be revitalized by simply going outside and observing nature.  Take a stroll on a trail or in your own backyard, go for a slow ride on a road you've never been on before, or find a quiet place to sit.  What do you see in the landscape around you?  What changes can you observe from season to season, from morning to evening?
