"We Can Thrive While Creating a Sustainable World" with Author Ellen Moyer

Creating a high-tech and high-nature way of life can expand our health and happiness, and spark an economic boom. That is the premise of author Ellen Moyer, Ph.D. P.E., and the subject of her presentation, “We Can Thrive While Creating a Sustainable World” on Wednesday, June 6, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., at the River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton, MA.

Ellen’s talk will feature specific practical, effective, and enjoyable actions we can take now to help us and our world prosper while addressing current environmental challenges. Ellen is the author of “Our Earth, Our Species, Our Selves: How to Thrive While Creating a Sustainable World”. Her book will be available for purchase and signing. She is a registered professional engineer with a BA in anthropology, an MS in environmental engineering, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering. She helps government agencies and Fortune 500 companies clean up hazardous waste sites, prevent environmental problems, analyze impacts, and provide educational outreach. Learn more about Ellen.
